Roadstone 'A' All Ireland Club Championship Semi-Finalists 2012
29th January 2012: Celbridge retained their All Ireland Championship trophy in Killarney today beating Northern Irish team Drumaness 3-1 in the final. Roadstone 'A' reached the semi-finals beating New Institute of Nenagh 3-2 in the quarter-finals with Paul Smith winning the deciding match, before losing 3-2 to Drumaness.

Darcy McGees 'A' lost in a three team play-off for runners-up in Group 1 to Crucible from Cork. The other 3 D.B.S.L. teams all won at least one match. All the results from the tournament are available here.
 
27th January 2012: (Peter Murphy) (Willows 'A') made a 97 in his 2-1 win against Ross Doyle (Glenageary) this week.
 
26th January 2012: Darcy McGee's Snooker Club have introduced a Junior Snooker Academy which will take place every Saturday from 12 noon. Coaching is provided by EBSA coach Peter Troy and offers include 1 hours snooker and coaching for €10.00 or 2 hours snooker and coaching for €15.00. 17th January 2012: (Robert Redmond) (Roadstone 'A') made a 147 in practise tonight and nearly followed it up in the next frame with another one, missing the black off the last red when on 113.
 
8th January 2012: Roadstone 'A' won the 2012-2012 Dublin Club Championships in Darcy McGees Snooker Club in the early hours of this morning after one of the longest day's play in D.B.S.L. history. They beat Division 1 team Roadstone 'C' in the final which did not finish until after 2am. George O'Hara (Roadstone 'B') made the highest break, a 121.
 
3rd January 2012: Due to clashing with the All Ireland Club Championships. the Irish section of the Snookerbacker Classic 2012 will be held in CrossGuns Snooker Club now on Saturday 4th February 2012. Full details of the change and how to enter are available here. Players entering the Snookerbacker Classic will have the opportunity to earn a place in the Grand Finals of this event where the winner and runner up will earn a place in the Qualifying School with a chance of becoming a full-time professional.

Places in the Snookerbacker Classic are limited to 16 places. Entry is 50 euros.
 
3rd December 2011: Wayne Doyle (Glenageary) won the 3rd East Intermediate in Celbridge Snooker Club today. He beat Stephen Reddington (Darcy McGees 'B') 3-2 in the final. Stephen made the highest break with a 73. All the results from the day are available here.
 
2nd December 2011: Robert Redmond (Roadstone 'A') had a break of 105 in his league win against Terry Rogers 'A' this week.
 
14th October 2011: Willows Snooker Club are holding a handicapped weekly flyer every Wednedsday at 8pm. Entry is 12 euro (with 1 or 2 buy-backs at 8 euro usually available on the night depending on number of participants). Any players interested in playing can turn up on the night or contact Mark Farrell at 086-3553282 for further details. Full bar is available and all are welcome.

4th October 2011: All league clubs are invited to join the Snooker Directory, a new web site that aims to promote snooker clubs across Europe. All clubs will have their own page on the Snooker Directory website where they can advertise their club and use it to increase the number of players playing in their clubs.
